Music

I was born in Sardinia, and music was always in the room. My dad kept a guitar in the house, and before I knew a single chord I would slap the strings just to hear them sound.
Then the teenage years hit and I found metal. I started digging, and every band I found led me to another genre, another sound, another corner of that world.

At 23, heartbroken and with nothing left to lose, I bought a one-way ticket to Ireland to follow the only dream I had: music.
I met a lot of people there. Some stayed, some didn't, some just said hello. What I found was a deeper connection with music. With a couple of guys I founded Krude, a band with a raw, gritty, full-of-energy sound. We never got far: covid killed almost every chance to meet up and play.
That's also where I met my girlfriend, who showed me even more of Ireland. Around then I started a solo project called Riki Tree. It's where you'll find me, all of me: my sorrow, my anger, my happiness, my hate and my love.
In 2022, not exactly sober, I met a few guys in a bar. We started going to each other's places to write riffs and lyrics, building something. That something became Hand of Melkor. With more beer and a few more guys we played together for about a year, until I had to leave the band.
I moved back to Italy, and I'm still here, writing my feelings.
I know it's true now. Music is the words of the soul.
